This new project "Mark Berman - Antonín Dvořák Violin Concertos" will be premiered in the USA. In this very special American - Czech concert project we have the unique opportunity to listen to a contemporary American composer Mark Berman who was born in New York and is also phenomenal pianist and jazzman, following Dvořák’s legacy and the Master himself.
The concert gives us all also a wonderful opportunity to celebrate major Antonín Dvořák’s anniversary, 180 years since his birth on 8th September 1841. What more could we look forward to…

Gabriela was In the Cool Seat with Jim Hawkins. From her early performances in Prague, Gabriela became the first Czech finalist in The Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition in 1987, and in 1993 the overall winner of all major prizes in that competition. Now based in Shropshire, she juggles her music commitments with her passion for Shire horses.
